Tokio Marine Management(Australasia) concluded 2015 with two Corporate Social Responsibility projects: volunteering with OzHarvest and supporting the Christmas Appeal for Life for Koori Kids. OzHarvest is a food rescue organization that collects surplus food from supermarkets, hotels and various other donors, and redirects it to charity organizations supporting the vulnerable. The Melbourne office took on the task of collecting and re-distributing hundreds of kilograms of food across the city, while the Sydney Office helped with cooking and delivered their restaurant -quality dishes for a local homeless shelter. Finally, Tokio Marine continued its tradition of supporting the Christmas Appeal for Life for Koori Kids, supplying gifts to indigenous children for their annual Christmas Party. These activities reinforce the values at the core of Tokio Marine’s ‘Good Company’ philosophy to look beyond profit, empower our people and deliver on commitments.
