This is to announce that effective Tuesday 15th September 2015, Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co. Ltd. New Zealand Branch, (TMNFNZ) took over the full management of their New Zealand client’s insurance programmes currently managed by NZI. From that date all underwriting, new claims and all enquiries regarding our Japanese Clients need to be directed to TMNFNZ’s new office in Auckland.
To enhance our local services to both our clients and their brokers, the Auckland office has now been established and is operational. The office operates as the referral point for brokers for new business, renewals, new claims and general enquiries for our clients and would also welcome any new business enquiries for Japanese owned businesses based in New Zealand that you may act as broker for.
Initially the Auckland Office will provide representative services to both brokers and our clients with underwriting services, claims services and administration and finance services being provided by Tokio Marine in Sydney.
Malcolm Beaton has been appointed the New Zealand Representative for TMNFNZ. Malcolm has an extensive background in Underwriting, Broking and reinsurance, both within New Zealand and in overseas markets. He will be contacting you shortly to discuss our local services and to answer any questions you may have regarding the change over from NZI.
